Espressocup - La Mère by Marie Michielssen - Venetian red

The tableware looks slightly nostalgic but is, in many ways, innovative because of its vertical structure. Each shape is unique and hand-moulded. All pieces are finished with a glaze in broken white or a warm dark brown, almost black. As a third contrasting colour, Marie chose a bold Venetian red. The designer consciously chose these colours to create a mix & match of white with dark brown or red with dark brown.
